Tourist Places in Pushkar

Brahma Temple the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma (The Creator of the world, according to Hindu mythology) is worshipped is the main attraction of Pushkar. Pushkar tourism is an important part of the tourism of Rajasthan. Hence there are numerous Pushkar tour packages for you to choose from. Savitri Temple
Dedicated to Savitri, one of Brahma's wives, the temple is located on the highest hill above the Pushkar town. You have to climb a long series of steps to reach the shrine. 

The temple offers a panoramic view of the Pushkar Lake and surrounding sand dunes. This is a must visited place of Pushkar so go and see the temple of devoted wife, Savitri.

Pushkar Lake
The Pushkar Lake is considered as one of the most sacred spot in India. it is believed that the lake wascreated by the lotus petals, which fell from the hand of Lord Krishna. Every year during Kartik Purnima (Month of Oct\Nov when moon appear in full size) pilgrim come from across the world for take a holy dip in holy Lake. The tranquil and beautiful lake amidst the hills has fifty-two bathing Ghats, built around the lake. The Lake is semi-circular in shape. The water around each Ghat is supposed to have special powers. 

Pushkar Fair
Pushkar fair is one of its kinds in the world. The fair is organized in the month of Kartik (Oct.\Nov.) every year on the bank of Pushkar Lake in Ajmar district, India. During this fair tourist is interacted with women dressed in mirrored skirts and vivid shawls lay out embroidered cloth, Jewellery, pots, and ornaments. The Cattle, poultry, sheep and goats are entered for competitions, and prizes given for the best displays of fruit and vegetables. The fair is also famous for trading of cattle during festival. So, if you want to enjoy the real culture and tradition of Rajasthan, must visit the Pushkar fair.
